Let’s face it- we live in a culture where a great deal of importance is placed on our appearance, whether as a teenager or adult. Acne affects 40 to 50 million people in the United States- the most common skin disease treated by physicians.
The look of our skin may be small compared to other diseases, but socially, psychologically, and emotionally, it still has a tremendous impact- especially considering that it’s hard to hide what appears on your face-the part of yourself that you show to the world.
Here’s something I use twice a day to keep my skin sparkling clean. I can even take off my eye makeup with this.
Remove ¼ cup of Witch hazel and save for later. Add 2 tablespoons each of Gotu Kola and Nettle Leaf. Add 2 packets Standard Process EZ Mg. There’s probably enough room to pour a little of the witch hazel back in. I use this on a cotton ball after washing my face twice daily. My skin is happier for it.
This will make up several bottles of Skin tonic. You may want to use the rest for making up gifts that are coming to your office.
Taking care of our skin is essential for our overall well-being. Although it may seem like a minor issue, it can significantly impact our social, psychological, and emotional health. By using remedies such as my skin tonic or other Standard Process herbs, we can help keep our skin looking and feeling its best, which can help improve our confidence and overall quality of life.
