As a former triathlete and cyclist- these days I try to be an ‘everyday sports enthusiast’, meaning regular hiking, barre workouts, and now pickleball! With the rage of pickleball (which is SO much fun! ) comes a higher incidence of injury, especially broken wrists.

Kim Sperry of Kim Sperry Consulting - Pickle Fall and Other Sports-Related Injuries

If you have an injury, you’ll find yourself temporarily stopped. During this time, it’s important to get yourself out of pain so that you can rest, repair, and reduce swelling/inflammation. You’ll want to give your joints, ligaments, cartilage, and tendons everything possible for them to recover fully. Here’s what I’ve discovered works for me and pronto!

Many of you have been hearing me sing the praises of Researched Nutritionals-one of the only companies that puts their money where their mouth is. We back our products with human clinical studies proving their effectiveness. These products are highly efficient-combining multiple support systems into each capsule!

CytoQuel was used in 2 month long clinical human study done on chronic pain sufferers. Each participant had to be in pain in at least one area of their body for at least 6 months. The results were staggering! Here’s the original study published in Journal of Pain Research along with highlights of the results which included better sleep and improved cardiovascular markers with only 3 capsules per day.

Soothe & Relaxx – OMG! I’ve been curious about this product because I’ve heard such great things about it. I ran to it once I had my own “pickle fall” injury. Contains the following– Magnesium Glycinate, Glucosamine Sulphate, MSM, Chondroitin Sulphate, Hyaluronic Acid, Malic Acid, 5HTP, Valerian, Lemon Balm, Passion Flower, Chamomile flower extract, White Willow bark (15% salicylic acid), Boswellia, Circuwin, Holy Basil. Suggested use – 3 capsules twice daily – I felt the difference the very first day.

Here’s what Dr. Jaqueline Chan had to say about Soothe & Relaxx:

spoons with different spices, including turmeric, on a table

A not-well-known note about Curcumin that needs to be shared:

Both of the above-mentioned products contain Circuwin rather than CirQFen (the fenugreek-infused turmeric). Why and is there a difference?

Yes!! By most experts, Curcuwin is considered to be the most bioavailable curcumin product on the market and a non-piperine (pepper) form. A randomized, double-blind, crossover study with healthy human volunteers tested the relative absorption of standard curcumin and three microencapsulated branded formulas. The curcumin-fenugreek fiber extracted formulation had only 24.8 times the bioavailability and kept its potency for about an hour. CurcuWIN increased absorption of curcuminoids 46x’s times over standard, unformulated curcumin and kept its potency for 12 hours!1 Interesting, isn’t it?

Here’s to gracefulness & flexibility,

Kim
