From the air of unpredictability heroes rise. I just want to thank you. I’d like to thank all of you dedicated practitioners who are still in your offices, making yourselves available to patients, and helping to strengthen your collective communities while taking protective safety measures to preserve your own health. You are the leaders and compassionate friendly faces that people are craving. While leaving masks and gloves intact, we take off our hats to you!

Safety Measures tips from Dawn Dolan

If you’re struggling to stay open while you see patient visits decline, here’s Dawn Dolan’s (Rejuvenation and Well Being’s) advice:

  • While calling patients, let them know of the rigorous standards of sterility implemented in office.
  • Request that they enter with some type of hands/hand/face/nose covering, and only when called.
  • Let them know that everything is wiped down in between patients.
  • No one else is allowed in the room other than the patient, staff and doctor who wear protective face mask and gloves the entire day.

This goes a LONG way towards patients feeling safe while getting the care that they need. Dawn said taking this step made the difference between keeping a very successful (and compliant) practice seamlessly running vs having to shut the doors. Doctors are also using technology such as Zoom and Skype to consult with patients who are unable to come into the office.

In these challenging times, it is crucial to adapt and emerge stronger than ever. By following strict safety measures and utilizing technology, healthcare practitioners can continue to provide essential care to their patients. Embracing these practices will not only ensure the well-being of your patients but also contribute to the success and continuity of your practice. If you have any questions or need further guidance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Stay strong, stay safe!
