Optimal Pre & Post Prep for the Big Day
Preparing to undergo surgery can be similar to training for a marathon- both considered physically and mentally taxing. So why not physically and mentally prepare your body for the stress it will endure on the operating table?
Here are some key points from my webinar on preparing for surgery, including recommended products, detox pathways, and more.
Detox Pathways
Surgery can be a major shock to the body, affecting organs such as the lungs, liver, bladder, heart, and gastrointestinal system. These organs are also our detox pathways, making it crucial to support them before and after surgery. One recommended product is SP Detox Balance, which increases healing and recovery and is a source of all essential amino acids. It also reinforces the microbiome and supports cellular health, shock infection, and surgery.
Products
In addition to SP Detox Balance, other recommended products include:
- Epimune: a combination of Epicore and medicinal mushrooms that boosts the microbiome’s beneficial bacteria, increases interferon levels, and improves digestion and overall health.
- MediHerb Milk Thistle Forte: a special class of herbs known as tropho-restoratives.
- Gotu Kola Complex: used post-surgery.
Cruciferous Vegetables
Cruciferous vegetables are important for wound healing and increasing glutathione levels. Spanish black radish is one of the most potent cruciferous vegetables and aids in the elimination of toxic substances. Buckwheat sprouts contain bioflavonoids, good for connective tissue, and are a precursor to vitamin D.
