How were you introduced to Standard Process?
“I attended Los Angeles College of Chiropractic when it was located on the campus of the former Harrower Laboratories. Henry Harrower, M.D., was a nutritional MD who researched supplements for glandular disorders. One of my classmates was Bob Curry who introduced me to Henry Harrower’s books and then to Dr. George Goodheart’s Applied Kinesiology. Bob later became the Standard Process representative for southern California.
I was deeply influenced by the work of Terrance Bennett DC who developed Neurovascular Dynamics, a viscero-somatic diagnostic and treatment method focused on the GI tract that has been incorporated into Applied Kinesiology. The works of Bernard Jensen, D.C., Phd with its constitutional iris examination and nutritional applications have been part of my new patient examination since the beginning. Applied Kinesiology and Neurovascular Dynamics reveal what is actively going on with the patient and the Iris Analysis gives a genetic profile of what organ systems are needing support.
Share a recent success story:
I had a patient slated for lower back surgery due to multiple disc protrusions with severe sciatica. She’s been on Medi Herb Boswellia Complex, Adrenal complex, and GI Flora Balance Program, Epimune, and Medi Herb Turmeric forte. This combined with chiropractic care has allowed her to avoid surgery and be functional. She’s now 95% symptom-free, and able to continue work.
Since I treat a lot of musculoskeletal issues, Medi Herb Boswellia Complex is the best product I’ve found. I and use a lot of Standard Process Epimune (the need for this has gone up quite a bit since the Pandemic).
