In the digital age, having a Facebook page for your healthcare practice can be a game-changer. It serves as a platform where you can connect with your patients, share health tips and updates about your practice, and even schedule appointments. Not only does it increase your online presence, but it also fosters a sense of community and transparency between you and your patients. Today, Dawna dives into the simple steps on how to create one.
“Creating a Facebook page couldn’t be easier!
- Go to facebook.com/pages/create.
- Click to choose a Page type.
- Fill out the required information.
- Click Continue and follow the on-screen instruction
Note: Anyone can create a Page, but only official representatives can create a Page for an organization, business, brand, or public figure.
As you fill out your business information, remember social media is all about imagery! Be sure to upload either your logo or a great headshot along with a cover photo that best represents your business.
This is a great place to analyze your industry! Check out what others in your field are doing and posting. Invite your friends and clients to “like” and “follow” your page. It’s a great platform to promote yourself and your practice/business. Get your business name out there and make it easier for your patients/clients to find you.”
A note from Kim
Working with Dawna and Cristina has roused me towards a 21st-century practice, starting with the graphics and videos in our email communications. I’ve had an old Facebook business page linked to my personal page but didn’t even know how to update or delete it, so I feel for any hesitancy you may have on getting on board with technology. But it’s oh so nice to make progress and to have the right partners to help! My next step is a website created by Cristina AKA The Lovely Geek!
Embracing technology and social media platforms like Facebook can greatly enhance the reach and effectiveness of your healthcare practice. If you have any questions or need more help getting started, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to support you on your digital journey.
Let’s learn and grow together,
Kim
