Tips & Tools for Running a Virtual Practice

Today’s Biz Tip Friday comes from Dawna Weiss, PMP CN of Inspired Living:

“As a Clinical Nutritionist, I’m able to do phone sessions, take payments, and run my business from my phone! Yes I have a GREAT office, and love to see my clients! That’s only part of the service I provide for them. I have made myself accessible to them via text message from day one. It’s not too late for you to implement this new process; in fact it’s the perfect time!

I’ve trained my clients to text me directly for their product refills. This way, nothing gets missed. They have the luxury of sending me their order right when they are thinking of it, and I can receive it and process it using the Standard Process Drop Ship option! All from my smartphone!

I’m able to update their charts once back in the office. I make a note on my phone’s calendar to update my client’s chart for items. Then I’ll text an updated supplement schedule to them via text. My clients LOVE this!

I utilize the Standard Process drop ship for ALL of my supplement orders, and I have worked the shipping cost to each order. Remember there is an additional $6 charge per drop-ship order. Here’s a video on how I order from my phone.”
